Ron takes great pleasure in serving memorable meals for Almyra guests using only the very best local products. Ron takes his inspiration from menus created by our specially commissioned Michelin chef and is passionate about offering our guests well presented and enjoyable dishes.
If you have chosen the B&B option, then breakfasts are an event at Almyra. You may choose a light, continental breakfast which is filled with an array of local, in season fruit, a variety of breads and homemade jams and yoghurts. Hopefully you choose the full cooked breakfast so you can enjoy one of the many highlights at Almyra.
A gourmet platter with fish and/or cheese can be ordered in advance (normally a few hours notice required but we'll try to oblige). What a perfect way to spend your first evening or after a long exciting day in the National Park, with a bottle of wine. Let us know your requirements!
Almyra is located in a region that provides not only the best seafood and produce but in a country known for the world's best lamb and beef. It is our pleasure to present the best of New Zealand at Almyra, enjoyed on your private deck or in Almyra's dining room. Dinner is by prior arrangement only.
4 course dinner with fine wines and pre-dinner canapes for NZD $95 per person. If you prefer your dinner without wine or wish to purchase a bottle of one of our fine local wines, then the cost per person is NZD80
